Community Service

Community Service Overview

I am thrilled to have this platform to share my community service efforts and showcase my dedication to making a difference in the world.

One of the causes that I am extremely passionate about is encouraging high school students who have turned 18 years old to register to vote. I believe that voting is not only a right but also a powerful tool for change. By engaging young people in the democratic process, we can shape the future and make our voices heard. I actively promote voter registration drives and educate my peers about the importance of voting in local and national elections.

In addition to my advocacy for voter registration, I am involved in various community service activities that have allowed me to make a positive impact. One of these activities is Tennis Without Limits, a non-profit organization that I founded and serve as the Executive Director in Dallas, Texas. Through this initiative, I provide pro-bono tennis instruction and gear to underrepresented youth in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. I am responsible for all executive, operational, program, and fundraising management to ensure the success and sustainability of this organization.

Another organization that I am proud to be a part of is Kappa League. As the Dallas Chapter Secretary, I actively participate in community service and social action projects. One of the highlights of my involvement with Kappa League is encouraging residents to register to vote in our annual voter drives. By engaging with the community and spreading awareness about the importance of voting, we empower individuals to exercise their civic duty.

In 2019, I co-founded Future Black MD, a non-profit organization based in Denver, Colorado. Our mission is to educate and create interest in African American students and their parents to consider a career path as a future physician. We host a summer camp and seminars with local physicians to share their experiences and provide resources. By inspiring the next generation of doctors, we aim to increase diversity in the medical field and address healthcare disparities.

I have also been a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc, where I actively participated in monthly service opportunities to benefit and educate children and their families. One of the initiatives I have led is the annual food drives, which aim to combat hunger in our community. Through these service projects, I have learned the importance of giving back and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

As I prepare for college, I am committed to continuing my community service efforts and making a difference in the lives of others. I am excited to pursue a degree in pre-law and political science, and further enhance my ability to effect positive change. Join me on this journey as I strive to create a better world, one act of service at a time.

Thank you for visiting my website, and I hope my passion for community service inspires you to get involved and make a difference in your own community. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.
